#GivingTuesday is about support and that can come in many ways. DDVA has a long history of raising #DyslexiaAwareness and we welcome you to continue to raise awareness about #dyslexia!
On #GivingTuesday we renew our pledge to continue to support our Virginia educators. We will continue to offer scholarships to educators seeking to learn more about literacy interventions that are evidence-based, systematic, founded in the science of reading and appropriate for students with dyslexia. We will continue to work with the Virginia Dept of Education, Virginia State Legislators, and Virginia Institutes of Higher Education to increase the awareness of dyslexia and its impact on a student's literacy, access to the curriculum, and health and well-being in the classroom.
